Jack Steen is a night nurse on the Death Ward of a hospital for the criminally insane. He makes deals with some of the patients to hear their confessions before they die.
The confession in this story comes from the patient referred to only as Ken ... as in Barbie and Ken.

Another "Deathed Confession", told as only writer Jack Steen can. As a nurse for the criminally insane, Jack Steen's books are raw and gritty. "The Babysitter" is no different. It is exactly what one would expect from the guy who makes deals with his dying criminally insane patients to get them to tell him their dirty deeds.
Steen's books have harsh wording, are gory, and foul-mouthed. But are written and delivered so well. You have to remember the sources of the information here, they are criminals.
I gave this book 4 stars simply because of the scattered errors that a good proofread would solve.
I am Jack Steen fan. I find his books incredibly interesting and happen to think his 'in your face' writing style fits his subject matter.
Though it's a pretty short and easy read, all three books have not failed in capturing my attention. These stories really take you inside the minds of those who have lived and done monsterous things. It's an extremely facinating read and I'm definitely hooked. I can't wait for more of Jack Steen's work.
